The founder of J & M Carpets grew up in the flooring business, helping in his father’s carpet store in Bedminster, Bristol.
This inevitably led to him following in the family footsteps, and several decades later our firm is flourishing in Weston-Super-Mare, serving customers in Bristol and across north Somerset.

We visit you as arranged with a large selection of samples. We measure the room/s where new flooring is required, check the sub-floor, and give you a no-obligation estimate based on the flooring sample you choose. If and when you decide to go ahead, we’ll schedule a mutually convenient fitting appointment.
We arrive promptly as scheduled and get to work, moving furniture if necessary, uplifting and removing the old floor covering. We put down underlay if required then fit and secure the flooring as appropriate for the flooring type – loose lay, grippers, or adhesive.

While we focus on residential clients in the Bristol area, we are proud to say we have also completed some large flooring contracts like a school hall, and even carpeted a church. We also do occasional contract work for letting agents in London.
We are SafeContractor accredited and approved and can provide organisations with advice and specialised flooring installations like anti-static finishes, non-slip flooring, stair nosing and entrance matting.
